Installed just fine, but they stripped out on the first day. Poor quality.

Read all the poor reviews but didn’t see many options, original gearbox was maybe five years old and this new one lasted for probably two rides

I installed this product and it stripped the gears off in about 5 minutes. I did not hamper with the internals at all prior to installation.

The gears a cheap! They were slipping after putting them in. Took the motor off these & put them on the old gears & now my son's atv finally works & sounds like it should.

I used this as a direct replacement for a Peg Perego JD Gator (old style). In appearance it is very similar to the original, but after less than two hours of normal use the gears totally stripped out (using the stock 12v system — not using a higher voltage battery conversion like some folks).I exchanged it for another replacement, hoping that the first unit I got was just faulty……same experience with replacement #2. Total waste of time and money—-do yourself a favor and avoid!
