This fits the MacBook pro M3 series as that's what I'm using as well as the iPad m1 and is very versatile. I would give it five stars however it doesn't connect or look appealing as there's a gap and it's not flush but it's very hard for anything to be flush. That is a dongle that is aligned in parallel with your machine. Unless you have a gap merger that would block that appearance. It didn't come with one nor was it advertising that it did. However, at very versatile and highly recommend purchasing this product as it's affordable and it does the job.

Yes, I am gifting this to my 12-year-old techy! He has a computer and device up the yahoo, never enough ports for hooking up this and that or charging his multitudes of devices. A USB C hub for his Mac. So many ports including 4K HDMI, 4 USB Ports - 2 C & 2 A, micro SD & SD card reader. I know he will be happy!!!

I have so many extra gadgets I connect to my MacBook and this is what I needed to be able to use everything at the same time. Until now I was just unplugging one cable and plugging another one when I needed to switch. It was so annoying. This one saves a lot of time and frustration - at least for the things I use it for (extra monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.)

First noticed that it is compact, sleak, clever design, it can fit some computers without being detached. But if it doesn't you can detach parts. I don't use it for power, so the heat levels are not a problem.The design and build quality are good and has good port capacity. I have another but as I do not use power on devices like these. It is my go to for port expansion now as I can make it smaller and it doesn't block out all the computers. As it is expanding 1 port and converting another it is good.
