I use this to mount my iPhone to my hi-hat stand and it works great and holds it very solidly. The gooseneck is incredibly stiff, so it holds everything every well and never sags (not that the iPhone is terribly heavy). It would be nice if the gooseneck was longer, but other than that, it it great.

I've only had this item for 6 months and it fell apart! buyer beware, the suction cup holder became very brittle and snapped right off with out even touching it. Very unsatisfied.
