These are the best fitting and feeling shoes I own. Great traction and they clean up well. This was not my preferred color, but it does hide trail dirt well and even mud, if left alone to dry, cleans off well. I'll just say this: Altra has some fugly color combos.

The shoe has a very comfortable fit. A wide toebox. Lots of cushion in the soul that you cannot feel rocks roots, and even acorns under your shoe. Good grip! Just was not the shoe for me. I need something with a little more arch in the shoe. And these are made for more of flatfoot.

Could be the cut in this particular shoe. All other women’s altra shoes I’m a 9 but these are just a tad small so definitely want to go a half size bigger. They feel comfortable to walk and stand in. I have been watching these when they go on sale since they are on the expensive side. So far so good.
