I really wanted to contact the seller instead of writing a poor review but unfortunately there was no option to do that. I fitted the adapter in my car but afterwards the radio could not receive any channels. After investigating that other things on my car and radio were correct I finally checked the connection between the plugs at both ends of this aerial adapter. The earth connection was fine but there was no connection between the signal pin at one end and the signal pin at the other end. On closer inspection (dismantling) I found that the inner signal wire had broken and been stretched apart so there was a gap of about 1cm in the copper wire inside. I suspect it happened during manufacture rather than from damage during shipping. If the seller wants to send me a new one then I will check it and if it works ok then I will add a more positive comment to my review. I would like to give it zero stars but Amazon makes me give at least one.
