This item does not fit my laptop. It is too large and the connections are not the same. The teeth, for lack of the proper term, are longer on the part that goes on the motherboard. The ones on the replacement, are short like tiny squares. Completely different. The replacement was also thicker and longer on that same connection. Very disappointed because I searched a long time to make sure I got the right one, since I'm not well versed in the inner workings of computers. Also I wanted the most cost effective price since I'm repair it myself for cost reasons.

I bought this video display cable to repair my daughter's ACER A515-51 series laptop. The video display was dropping in and out if she moved the laptop screen. I opened up the laptop and display screen and found the original video display cable had some fraying and wires broken at the connector that connects to the display screen. I bought this replacement cable from Amazon and it appears to be an exact match for the original cable. I removed the original cable and installed the replacement and the video display problems are resolved. Can't ask for much more than that!

Cable is well made and exactly like the original. Shipment was on time and undamaged. Took 15 minutes to install and worked perfectly. Would definitely buy from this seller again.
