I've never had a selfie stick and this one seemed convenient. It held my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 with no problem.It's not quite long enough when extended for my preferred angle but it's waaaaay better than a closeup.Recommend - it's portable and compact, and held my large phone.

I spent too much time looking through the information and pictures to find out what its actual size was before I ordered it.---- SIZE: *MY MEASUREMENTSCOLLAPSED (all put together... how you would carry it in our pocket)- - - - 4.75" LONG x 1" THICK x 1.375"(but 1.75" wide at top) WIDE. - - - -- - - - METAL EXTENSION PART extends out to 17" LONG (PLUS HANDLE, PLUS PHONE HOLDER PART).Although the handle and the phone holder part does make the selfie stick a little longer... I am not including it in the fully extended measurement. Basically the metal extension part is what actually holds your smartphone away from you.WELL OK,,, a second 'small' criticism: The metal extendable arm was a little tight to open and close. I put a very small amount of (very fine) sewing machine oil onto it and then distributed it around with a paper towel and then immediately cleaned off all excess oil. It now opens and closes wonderfully.====================================================IS THIS SELFIE STICK WORTH IT ??? ***...YES...*** ...Ready WHY:====================================================For the price, and compact storage size (when completely collapsed and closed up) this is handy thing to have along on vacation without the bulkiness of larger selfie sticks. It allows you to take much better pictures than holding your phone awkwardly at the end of your arm (trying hard not to get your sleeve into the picture!). Considering what you get, how it's made, and super nice small size I'm very confident in saying that it is certainly worth the currently listed price of CA$29.99. Although I might agree that this is the upper limit that I would pay for such a device with these features.An included VERY SMALL CR1225 battery (watch battery?) powers the Bluetooth (camera) button on the selfie stick. This 3 volt battery is less than 1/2" wide and about 3/32" thick! I am not sure how long this battery will last. A quick check on Amazon found out that these batteries are easily available and currently cost less than CA$2 each.BLUETOOTH PAIRING of the "button" (to take pictures and/or start/stop video recording) was VERY EASY. The process to do this was CLEARLY outlined in the accompanying instructions.IN CONCLUSION - - -I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH USE I'VE ALREADY GOTTEN OUT OF THIS SELFIE STICK ! MOSTLY BECAUSE it's so small and easy to take along in my pocket. I've NEVER considered a selfie stick before... they all weren't compact enough for my liking and I always felt that taking one along would be more trouble than what it's worth. I ONLY have to remember to keep sticking it back into my pocket when I'm done with it... I'm paranoid of leaving it somewhere! BUT then again for this low cost... It would only be a little pain to have to buy a replacement if I do lose it.
