The design is not user friendly. You cannot keep a butter knife in this dish, it will slide off and cause a mess. Also, the lid is quite heavy and the bottom plate, shallow, so this too causes a mess whenever you remove the lid or put it back.

Pricey and classy looks

Beautiful item. Easily holds a wad of 100g Amul butter. You can even stack two wads on top of each other. Very good quality porcelain. Looks stunning on the dining table. The seller "Wilmax India" sent the package via FedEx. Packaging was superb and I received the item before the expected due date. I will definitely buy more products from this seller. Highly recommended!

Stylish product ..but is suitable for 100 gms butter only...it can hold 2 slabs of 100gms each if placed one above the other...not more than that... suitable for my requirement...a bit overpriced though

Beautiful. However a few points to note. This will not hold the standard 500gm amul butter slab, there's no space. Also designs like this with a cover tend to have the inside cover edge getting all buttery. For this reason I will be buying another dish with a cover that goes over the top so it does not touch the butter and can hold more butter since I make my own now. The wilmax one is perfect for a 100 GM slab of butter it fits perfectly well without touching the inside edges of the cover.
