There's not a-lot to say about these other than they are very comfy and reasonably well made for the price. I like the fact that the front and back pocket have zippers and are easily large enough to hold my passport & credit card holder. It makes me feel a lot safer when I travel outside of the United States, I like being able to put my passport wallet all my credit cards and everything along with American dollars and local currency into a pocket with a zipper. I worry less about pickpockets than I do myself trying to carry too much stuff around and not putting my wallet or something else in deep enough allowing it to fall out. Exact thing happened to me in March when I traveled to Istanbul Turkey. On the one day I wasn't not wearing pair shorts with pockets that super closed, I run it an electric scooter to ride around town and somewhere along the lines my vape mod fell out of my pocket and that mistake, well it cost me over $100 to replace locally. I now you can tell I'm a fan of the zipper closed pockets but the other thing I like about the zipper closed pockets pull tabs that make it easy to locate to open and close.Now they're not so great part about these shorts are the two cargo pockets on the right leg. They use a single piece of Velcro to close each of the two pockets. From my extensive use and knowledge of Velcro I can tell you this isn't the best of Velcro and it's using a single stitch seam,I find the dark gray pair I purchased will make a quick trip to the grocery store in my house shorts a lot more convenient, I can throw on a decent shirt and shoes and it doesn't make for bad outfit.

As others have stated, the side pocket zips fail on these shorts. Tried a second pair and had the same issue.. Shame as they are really comfy.

I tried to open the velcro pocket and one side of the pocket just unraveled...

These shorts are fantastic. The combination of a separate pair of padded inner shorts makes these brilliant. Loads of pockets and the Velcro pocket on the right thigh fits my iPhone 12 Pro Max perfectly. Really comfortable, lightweight and dry very quickly. You cannot go wrong with these. Perfect for commuting to work on my MTB.
