I am all around impressed with this module.The material and build are high quality and look/feel industrial grade.The unit is shipped minus the documentation but that’s largely because the versatility of the module doesn’t lend itself to a brief manual.The box includes a sticker that guides you to the manufacturer website (or a quick Google search will garner the same results.)From there you can find everything you would need about this module to work with it including manuals, software, coding etc.and they are well laid out and easy to understand.The generic username, password and IP are labelled on the back of the module for easy reference.I wanted to replicate an energy metering set-up that a user had built for their Eastron SDM630 Power Meter. Fortunately that user did a lot of the legwork on working around this module not having ModBus support.Once you dig into it and get a feel for the stream processing it’s fairly easy from there.I will be ordering more products from this brand and I definitely would recommend this module for any variety of projects.

Instructions aren’t great but I was able to figure it out. I control 2 ptz cameras for my sports livestream with this unit. No problems yet!

Ich habe mir dieses Gerät zugelegt um einen Solax X1 Mini Wechselrichter abzufragen. Zu Testzwecken habe ich diesen an meiner Lüftungsanlage KWL90se angeschlossen - die Abfrage dann via NodeRed.Da die kwl90se sowieso mit der Steuereinheit ständig kommuniziert, war ein mitlesen der Kommunikation als ersten Einstieg super.Was soll ich sagen: angeschlossen und es funktionierte sofort. Natürlich muss man in der Dokumentation nachlesen wie man die Bytes zu intepretieren hat. Aber die sich sowas bestellen haben sicherlich technisches Verständnis.Zum Thema Sicherheit: Passwort in Klartext und auf 5 Zeichen begrenzt (wie schon in einem anderen Kommentar geschrieben) - also auf gar keinen Fall aus dem Internet erreichbar machen.
