Unpacked it and used it immediately. Sealed 15 briskets, 10 plates of short ribs, and 10 pork shoulders. Zero issues. It worked flawlessly. The double seal is a game changer. The Food Saver I used would require a double seal which takes twice the time. This model performs a double seal on each sealing operation. It is quieter than the Food Saver. Speed is about the same, but when you count the the time on the Food Saver to seal twice, this Vevor is much faster.I am very impressed. The main reason for getting this model was to test out the brand name before ordering their Chamber Vacuum.

I bought the machine on Sept 22, 2024, received it on Oct 02. I started using it 3 weeks later, on different days, everything was fine until Nov 26 when it stopped working, it would turn on but would do nothing else. After trying several times, it did nothing (in less than a month) and only 5 uses. I tried to contact the Vevor company directly, no phone number, no chat, only text message or email. The communication was back and forth. After sending all the information they asked for, I did not receive any response or solution. Amazon solved the problem, but I have to pay restocking fee. I have previously bought other items from Vevor without any problem, of course, I had never returned anything to them before. This time I was left in disagreement and very disappointed. Vevor does not stand behind its product. They failed in customer service, in communication and they failed to help and resolve the complaint of the problem stated.

This is the best vacuum sealer I've tried in several months since my old FoodSaver broke. I went through several in a couple years previous, and the newest "do it all" FoodSavers wasted too much plastic and didn't sense bags most of the time, so I gave up and looked elsewhere. I wanted higher vacuum power, a good warranty, and simpler operation (meaning I shut the lid and press a button to start vacuuming). This machine can't vacuum Mylar bags, but that's the only negative. It stores and cuts rolls, and it's wide enough to package big cuts of meat if needed. I was surprised how little time it took to seal a jar. Maybe I don't need a converted pressure cooker type vacuum sealer after all. The handle is very nice. It prevents arthritis and muscle pain, a big plus for seniors like me. I haven't had to contact customer service even once. Yay! I will update if/when this one breaks. Crossing my fingers it lasts for years. I bought a warranty just in case.

I have had multiple sealers and this one is probably the best vacuum draw. The bag cutter is a bit clumsy in that you cant draw a 16" bag through the into the chamber but that that is trivial. Ntl. Dropping a star for extra step required. Does not have a lock position for storage or carrying handles like my last one but that too is not critical but adds to 4 star. Lock bar is very robust. My last one had a single side lever which required an internal linkage which failed. Hence the new one. It has multiple levels of draw which i like. Fast dual pump and 95kpa vacuum. Great deal for the cost if you want a wide frame unit. Drip chamber not removable but much wider so cleanup is still easy.Almost 5 star. But they dont have a 4.7. :)Thanx.
