Haven’t put it on my rifle yet, seem solid and well made for the price, not wobbly or loose at all but time will tell, I might try replacing the nylon detent ball that the sight pivots on with a steel one if it gets worn loose, but so far I’m very happy with what I got!

I have one other utg product and have been very happy with it. These are of the better price points so I figured I'd give it a try. Haven't used my broomstick with them yet but have mounted them. For the apparent quality and price I would take these over magpul or any other product.

I love metal, they can't break. Not saying that these are invincible however I've broken expensive Magpul, guess what they were plastic. I've never broken any of my UTG flip up sights. I'm a civilian and train by doing drills, cqb, target practice and hunting. So far these have been the best sights I've owned and at a great value. These are back up sights for a personal defense truck gun, on my .458 socom for bear hunting and I also have them on my fun gun, palmetto State armory AR47! They are easy to sight in. Comes with an Allen wrench and lay flat on the iron rails. I've done a few torture tests with my fun gun and they have held up very well to water, dirt and even cold weather. I would continue purchasing these and have a spare set for my next build.

This aluminum front Back-up Iron Sight (BUIS) is solidly built and a nice-looking sight. I have a front and back set on an AR-9 pistol I recently built. I've only ever bought Magpul BUIS and they are good...but honestly, I like these much better. For one, they're made of aluminum and not polymer like the Magpuls. Secondly, they're half the price of the Magpuls. If they would come in FDE, I'd buy a set of those as well. You have to manually deploy them but they lock in place without any wiggle or looseness. To lower them, you just press the little button on the side and push em back down. They don't move. The rear sights function the same way. Leapers/UTG products get a bad rap but I have a handful of their products including front and rear BUIS, a 15" thin rail, a 4X16 scope and cantilever rings, pistol light, lasers and misc. AR accessories. With the exception of the lasers, I'm happy with everything else I've bought with their name attached. If/when I build up another AR, I'll definitely buy another set of UTG BUIS.
