This is an excellent set of bowls! The stainless steel bowls are good quality and are perfectly designed – not too big and not too small, and they are a good shape. They are easy to hold and handle. The lids on the bowls fit nicely. The clear plastic chiller bowls (inside which you place the stainless steel bowls with your dips etc.) are beautiful, and they are good quality. And the little folding utensils (fork and spoon) that come with each bowl: How perfect!! This entire set is excellent. The price of about $33 when I ordered this set seems like a fair value. No, it is not cheap, and it does not look or feel cheap. It looks classy, and it's perfect. There are no flaws and no cons. It is a thoughtfully designed and well made set, and it is VERY practical. This will absolutely be my go-to set to take to parties. This is a BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT and FUNCTIONAL and FUN and THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED set. [Set contains 2-each 20-ounce stainless steel bowls plus the clear plastic outer bowls, lids for the bowls, and each bowl comes with a small folding fork and spoon set, for serving or for eating!]

I'm very happy with these bowls. Although depend on the shape, I was able to put about 1.5 cups of ice in the bottom the the bowls. These are a great size for dips. Being able to keep it cooler with the ice is helpful. The white lid just sits on top of the bowl and I am glad it does. The lid simply sitting on top allows the food to be protected from bugs but lifts of easily so the bowl does not pull up from the ice as you are trying to take it off.

At first impression, I would give this a 3.5-4. The stainless steel bowls do not sit in the plastic “ice chiller” bowl flush (looking back at the pictures, it does slightly show this). There is about an inch that sits above the top rim, and about an inch between the 2 bowls - this is where your ice would go. The stainless bowl is decent sized. It’s approx 3” deep or very close to 16 oz that would be sitting in the chilled ice. The last nice if the bowl that sits above the ice is approx 6oz. You would need to be careful of that top portion of the dip warming if it’s a hot day. The lid it came with is more appropriate to be a cover, I would not trust it containing any dip if the bowl were to tip over. Lastly, the plastic chiller bowl is nice to look at. Its design appears to have a magnifying effect while looking in- which might give it the appearance of holing more ice than it really is. I plan on making a dip to try in this soon, and will update if it really blows me away

The chiller bowl set does exactly what it's supposed to do but in a much more attractive fashion than the old "2 random size bowls inside each other" method that I've been using.I host a lot of parties and get-togethers and I own a ton of serving pieces of every size and type. I'm not sure why I never invested in a set of chiller bowls because it's something I need and use all the time. I live in Phoenix, so you can't leave dips out for long before they become unsafe to consume.These bowls are attractive and exceptionally functional. I love being able to have the dip ready to go in the smaller lidded bowl, kept in the fridge, and than at party time there's no prepping. Just grab and serve. The outer bowls are a great size to hold a decent amount of ice. The top bowls are large enough to hold a lot of dip. And the cute little folding utensils are a nice touch! (I'm not sure I'll ever use them, but might be cute on a picnic or something). I will also note - the lids fit quite well.

We initially weren’t sure if this would be a good item for us to have or not, but we’ve used them twice now at barbecues and they really are quite functional. They look great. They feel great and they do a good job of keeping whatever it is that you have in them cool. I have no problem recommending these.
