I was a little skeptical about how a plastic, portable, collapsible toilet/stool like this could actually hold 380 pounds like they claim, but when I got it, I could see how that might be possible. The ABS plastic it is made of is substantially thick and sturdy. I’m not 380 pounds, by any means, but I’m not skinny either, and it held my weight very securely. What a relief!It is very intriguing how the middle sections hook into one another to hold it up at whatever height you choose to open it to. And then, when you’re ready to close it, you open and twist it slightly (it doesn’t take much strength) and the springs inside pull all the sections down so it collapses into a disk that’s just a few inches high – which makes it very portable. You have to hold both the top and the bottom with your two hands when opening or collapsing it, so there’s no possibility of pinching yourself. Very cleverly designed!The base is wide and flat to give it stability on the ground. It has 3 fingerholes, like the holes on a bowling ball, to put your fingers into when twisting the unit to open or close it. The top is the same diameter as the base and has 3 parts – the lower ring that’s part of the expanding section, then a ring on top of that to hold down a plastic bag and function as a toilet seat, and then the round lid at the very top to close the toilet down and also function as a stool seat or small table top. I recommend putting a bungee cord around the outside of the plastic trash bag, right under the lids, to keep it in place more securely and look neater. Remember to keep some bag ties handy for when you pull out the bag, too.The top seat is completely flat, but has 2 handles recessed into it to lift it up and also to hold while twisting the base and top to open or close the expanding section. The lid also has a locking mechanism to keep the lid closed. The bottom and all the top pieces have a non-slip texture on them. The plastic is easy to wipe off and keep clean and could withstand rain or wet conditions. There’s even a hook to hold a towel or roll of toilet paper (maybe keep a plastic bag around it if in those rainy or wet conditions!). They also included a starter set of plastic trash bags and some packets of powder that I presume are for deodorizing purposes. I advise getting an additional supply of those small, thick, 5-8 gallon portable toilet liner bags to keep on hand.This portable unit can serve many different functions. Of course, it can be used as a toilet when on road trips, or camping/fishing, or at a job site, or any place where a toilet is not working or available. It can be used as a trash can or a laundry bin or it could hold a bag of ice. Both adults and children can sit on it like a stool at various heights, although at 13.5” max, it’s not as tall as most stools. It can be used as a sturdy side table with the added bonus of storing things inside of it. I suppose you could even wrap extra rope or hoses or cordage around the center section to keep them organized. Highly functional and useful product. Great to keep on hand for emergencies, too. Das wissen wir sehr genau, da wir beruflich auch solche Planungen erstellen.Die Campingtoilette kam zusammengekappt und gut verpackt bei uns an. Nach dem Unboxing kam die Sicht- und Qualitätsprüfung. Bei der Sichtprüfung ergaben sich keine Feststellungen. Wichtig ist allerdings, dass man sich mit dem Aufbau und dem Abbau in Ruhe vor einem Notfall einmal beschäftigt, damit es dann auch klappt, wenn die Toilette wirklich benötigt wird. Ist aber bei genauerer Betrachtung nahezu selbsterklärend. Ansonsten ließ sich die Toilette leicht aufklappen und hielt auch größeren Belastungen bis 180 kg stand.Die mitgelieferten Beutel (5 Stück) sollen unbedingt nachgekauft werden, in Abhängigkeit von der Personenzahl und ausreichend, um einen Zeitraum von 4 Wochen also (28 Tage) zu überbrücken, bei denen u.U. keine Toilette mit Wasserspülung zur Verfügung steht.Qualitativ ist die Toilette absolut okay und sauber verarbeitet, funktionell, wenn man sie benötigt, sicher auch.ResümeeSehr gute Camping- oder Notfalltoilette. Es wackelt nichts, man fühlt sich sicher; perfekt.Die Reinigung geht auch schnell von vonstatten.Etwas irritiert war ich von der in der mitgelieferten Beschreibung erwähnten, angeblichen Beleuchtungsmöglichkeit. Ein Batteriefach habe ich nicht entdecken können, aber das ist mir persönlich auch nicht wichtig.Zum Start erhält man auch einen Basisbestand an Müllsäcken und Aushärtemitteln.Die weiteren Nutzungsmöglichkeiten als Hocker, Mülleimer oder Wäschesammler sind ebenfalls klassse.Für den Notfall eine absolut taugliche und praktische Erfindung, die ich mir für derzeit 33,99 EU wieder zulegen würde.
