The feed was damaged and they never responded to my request for repair or replacement. It is a nice nib, but I had to toss the feed and make do with another nib unit. Not many people are capable of adjusting it and would have had to rely on crappy customer service.

I've got a bunch of expensive pens (MontBlanc 149, Pelikan 800, Conway-Stewart Churchill, Delta Dolce Vita et al), but my various TWSBIs are among my favorites. None of my more expensive pens have anything on my TWSBIs (a couple 580s and a Vac 700) when it comes to build quality or writing smoothness. My TWSBI stub nibs write better than any of my more expensive pens with stub nibs, so TWSBI is my go-to for when I want to write with a stub nib.

I love my handwriting with the 1.1 stub nib. It is very smooth and not too wet so I get great shading from my inks.

I bought the TWSBI Diamond pen, and it only came with an extra fine nib --and I HATE extra fine nibs, so I was a little disappointed at first, although I did like the pen. Now that I have this stub nib, I am delighted. The ink flow is generous and smooth, and the stub gives a great calligraphic effect. With the right ink, your handwriting will be a work of art! I am using J. Herbin's "Rouge Hermatite" ink in mine, and the result is extraordinary!
