Purchased to assist in the reading development of my daughter. Great book at a good price.

One of a nice little series of children's Ladybird books. All priced around the £4.99 mark. They are very slim (pictured next to my HD 10 for scale), and all seem to be between two and three hundred words in length. These are paperbacks, but the card used for the front cover is good quality and thanks to it's shiny surface will survive a wipe with a damp cloth. Each storybook has a small section at the beginning that suggests ways to engage with your child as you read and also a smaller section at the end that helps you test your child's recall. This story is a continuation of Topsy and Tim, who having experienced the Zoo, now set their sights on London. It introduces the concept of a trip or holiday. Special things to see and do, and how much fun it can be. Of course the twins are impeccably behaved, and glad to finally be going home. Of all the books I have read so far in this series, this one is the most detailed and educational. In my view the Topsy and Tim series are the best of the bunch...

Good to read for age 5yrs to 7yrs.

Ho comprato ad un ottimo prezzo 12 libretti di questa collana per la biblioteca di classe di mia figlia (5° elementare), tutti dallo stesso rivenditore.Sui libri niente da eccepire: perfetti e ben accolti dalla maestra e da tutta la classe.Unico neo il fatto che siano stati spediti ognuno singolarmente e oltre ad aumentare i costi di spedizione ho avuto la scomodità di dover intercettare ben 7 volte la consegna. Niente di che, ma questo vale una stella in meno.
