This strainer makes it so much easier to dissolving miso in liquids. It’s very sturdy, fits easily into a small pot or bowl due to the dipping handle design. Nice wooden handle and stirrer.

It’s well done and very practical for making miso soup. In retrospect I wished I had bought the small version (or a medium if available) as this is a bit too big and doesn’t sit nicely on most pots I use for miso. That being said it saves me time and does what it’s supposed to, so I’m relatively happy as the bigger size allows me to use it for cooking noodles straight in which makes it so much easier to serve them.
