Thule 3065 - Kit Fixpoint XT

I’ve used Thule on all my cars for far, A4 Avant (Roof Rails), Mercedes c-class saloon, fix points, both have had excellent flush mountings, looking very professional and easy to install.This kit however, lacks the rubber pads needed to make the feet fit flush. Now I have some weird floating roof system.I’m also concerned water may get in to the mounting areas.This will be a short term solution until Thule provide rubber pads for the feet or I get a towbar fitted.

Rather too complex a kit. But then again the *d**ts at M-B ought to still install raised rails like my previous version and not have us rely on clamping to a profiled bead.

This picture is grossly misleading. The 3065 foot is completely different in appearance and function on both BMW's and Saabs. It does not come with any form of rubber foot to provide confluence and to protect against water ingress leaving the roof rack disconnected visually, ugly and the overall look is appalling.This product leaves you with a roof rack that whistles loudly due to the poor fit. "a perfect fit for your car " is a complete joke. Whilst it may support the roof rack foot adequately whilst hovering the 753 foot an inch above the car it is not of merchantable quality in fit at all. I suggest everyone buys it confirms the problem and returns it for a full refund until the message gets home. it really shouldn't be being sold in this form.
