Comfort 10/10 Warmth is excellent and there is little chance of cold ground affecting sleep. Only drawback is size but that’s the trade off for a quality night of sleep. Better constructed than other sleep mats and screams quality which almost justified the price!

Diese "orthopädische" Luxusluftmatratze mit völlig unspektakulärer Optik bietet mir bei Bandscheibenproblemen und ausgeprägter Kniearthrose ausgezeichneten Liege- und Schlafkomfort - fast wie zu Hause im eigenen Bett und besser als im Hotelbett! Einzig das zählt für mich und rechtfertigt m.E. den hohen Preis. Die Breite von 65 cm ist etwas ungewohnt, aber durchaus üblich bei Reisematten. Der Packsack dient gleichzeitig als federleicht zu bedienender Blasebalg, eine tolle, platzsparende Idee - ich pumpe gemütlich im Sitzen. Auch für das Entlüften muss ich nicht auf dem Boden herum kriechen, erledige ich ebenfalls in Sitzhöhe. Die Therm-a-Rest Mondoking hat eine samtige, warme Oberfläche - sehr angenehm in kalten Nächten. Die morschen Knochen danken.

Consider me the princess of the princess and the pea. I’ve tried everything. I had settled on bringing an air mattress when camping. But I was frustrated by 2 things: the cold and having to inflate it multiple times. Never mind how big it is and the fact that I needed a separate tool to inflate them. I have tried many sleep pads from Amazon and with each one, I woke up multiple times during the night with soreness. I didn’t inflate this all the way the first time, and I didn’t know what all the fuss was. I added more air and WOW! It not only helps to keep your body heat from being sucked out, but the comfort is unreal. I never felt the ground and my joints felt supported. It is easy to inflate, let it do it’s thing, then add manually to your firmness preference. It’s also super easy to deflate and it packs smallish. If you are having trouble getting comfortable camping, buy this. It’s a game changer for car camping.

5歳女の子の初キャンプでしたので、最初が肝心と思い「熟睡できるキャンプ」にこだわりました。こどもがコットから落ちることを心配して、所有していたコットから、こちらのマットに更新。四方300㎝のテント内にラージ63センチ4枚並べて川の字。子供も就寝時楽しそうでマットにして正解でした。就寝時気温15℃くらい。付属の収納袋を接続して手作業でエアを注入。逆止弁があるため空気の戻りはなし。一枚あたり2分くらいで完成。重労働ではないが、複数枚の場合たいへん。サイドが直角のため、隙間なく並べるとありますが、「硬めに」とエア多めに入れるとカベの形状が丸みを帯びてきて、隣同士のマットと2センチは間隔ができる。寝心地は抜群。朝おきて、どこも体が痛くない。家族も熟睡できた。底冷えは皆無。子供は「またキャンプに行きたーい」と初キャンプは無事成功に終わりました。冬になり12月双子座流星群を見るために外でコットとマット、冬用寝袋と組み合わせて使用。外気は3°。底冷え皆無。ぬくぬくと2時間ほど流星群を楽しめました。最高のマットレスです。
