If you want to use this wire for electronics, the lacquer scrapes off with a butterknife, to expose the beautiful shiny copper. I'm making a wire antenna. I haven't determined if the lacquer is sufficiently strong and impermeable for a multilayer coil.

I tried using this to make some jewelry, but as you work with it, the color comes off. Just turns to silver

When working with this 24 gauge wire, while making jewelry, the outside color tarnishes or washes off becoming black or silvery. So far, I have this problem with two colors: Hematite and Vintage Bronze. Please, notify supplier of their color coating quality issues.
