Works well as it should but is more difficult then the original item to restring and reattach. You must reattach perfectly flat to 5he spool head. And keep the string in place at the same time. Three hands would be awesome if we all had more the the two we have. I will give everyone a tip to the string. Put and keep your weed eater string in water for 24 hours priorto use. Doing so makes it last longer and less breakable. Most manufacturers don't let you know this fact. But it Is true. The plastic will become less breakable in use. I hope you find this helpful.

Like the bump head ,will just order string , battery powered, string trimmer that uses it.
