I tried to measure some zener diodes. The readings were way off.Bit of a toy. Not a suitable for serious work.

It works really great, but has about 10-20% inaccuracy.

Fantastic component tester and lead identification, accuracy....hmmmm OK tested a 47uF cap it said it was 49uF , my dedicated capacitance meter said it was 46.97 uF so it did have a good go. Zenners and diodes and leds worked well as did resistors . Transistors , it won't identify the model but id's type and pinouts and hfe etc , it does FETS TRIACS THYRISTORS etc comes with a cheap led and capacitor to try and prove its working . You don't have to worry about component direction as it sorts that all out for you and displays it graphically. Very clear screen and rechargeable internal battery it uses a zif type socket to hold the component and comes with some short pre made leads with spring test clips , should you be able to test components in circuit ( not advised as surrounding components can affect readings) comes with some spare pins to make your own fly leads too. One other thing it does but not advertised is there is a small IR sensor on the front panel. If you press test then point a remote control at it it tells you all the data codes being transmitted, usefull for testing if its working , but use of that data.... maybe to someone. All round useful bit of test gear to have on the bench , for £18.....bargain. highly recommended

Ho acquistato questo tester per la necessità primaria del test dei condensatori poi ho constatato che ha molte funzionalità, inoltre la batteria interna ricaricabile è una gran comodità.

Il dispositivo fa poco più di un multimetro di buona qualità però c'è il vantaggio del tempo risparmiato per l' identificazioni dei componenti e di qualche indicazione in più consigliato per chi ha l'hobby per l'elettronica visto il prezzo ragionevole,poi c'è anche la possibilità di provare telecomandi a infrarossi
