Sharp, perfect for the roof I was doing, they will self drill but I found it worked better if I drilled a pilot hole

I have used many self tappers, but these are more useful as they seal with a rubber washer.recommended

I've been installing a sheet metal roof, and have been using "normal" screws, which entail, marking out the position of the screw , then drilling the holes, which is a total pain, These screws are really fantastic, they cut their own hole through the metal, making not so much easier and quicker.
