It’s sturdy and does the job perfectly. For the price it is a good deal. There’s a bow hook at the back and it also comes with an anti-slip pin holder.

It fits the double bass, is secure & sturdy, and doesn’t slip on or scratch the wood floors. Worth the $ to store this huge instrument properly in a house filled with kids & pets!

The higher position of the stand is not high enough for a 'cello with the endpin out. I drilled a set of holes a couple inches higher to accommodate my endpin. Also, when placing the 'cello it may hit the small pad in the middle of the back. That pad needs to be ten times wider and much more padded. I'm sure as it is it could punch a hole through the back.
