Handy to have in the car for our grandson to watch a cartoon on the phone if needed on a longer journey. The sleeve fits around the headrest on the Freelander and when nearly fully stretched the rubber phone holder fits the iPhone 11. It’s been used a few times and the phone seems to stick pretty well to the Velcro on the headrest sleeve - at least it hasn’t fallen off so far! 👍

When my little one gets bored and fractious in the car, the easiest way to calm her down is to put on her favourite show on iplayer. This is handy because it means I don't have to sit in the back holding the phone!It is easy to fit, there are two parts. First, fabric which wraps around the headrest and velcros in place, and second a silicone phone holder which hooks round each corner of the phone. Both parts have velcro on so you can just push the phone into place on the headrest. The silicone holder fit my s23 with no problems.Whilst the velcro has a large surface area, it does make me worry that over the course of a long /bumpy car journey it could loosen and the phone might eventually fall off. So far, I've only been on short journeys and it hasn't fallen off, but it is a concern.

I requested this thinking that it could be used for iPads. As you can see from the photo, the box clearly states that the device is suitable for ‘iPad & android tablet pcs’ but it isn’t.Positives: As you can see in the photo, the device fits my iPhone XR perfectly.Negatives: This device is only suitable for a mobile phone and whatever the passenger is viewing is going to be more than a comfortable distance away. It also means that the phone cannot be used for calls, etc without removing it from the backrest device, which will be difficult to do when a seatbelt is restricting the person’s movements. The other part of the item is just a Velcro band that fits under and over the headrest.I assume that the silicone bands can be bought separately but there is nothing to indicate this on the box or instructions. If you want to have your phone out of your hands as a car passenger, this will do the job but I’d rather have mine on my lap. The box is very misleading and I’m really not that impressed with this item.
