This review has been written after two years using this pump and filter and all I can say is that I WISH I had bought it sooner.We have had above grounds for about 10 years now. We started with a 10’ easy up and are now using a 12’ metal frame 39” deep. Prior to buying this kit I had always used the oem pump and filter. But as the kids got older we have been using the pools more and more. In addition I have also added three solar mats to warm the water up. Because if this it was getting to the stage where the original equipment was not really coping with the task of keeping the pool usable.After a lot of research I decided to bite the bullet and get this Steinbach. What a difference!!! The pool has been crystal clear all summer long. Plus, with the solar mats (now able to be placed on the garage roof due to the pumps power), we consistently had the water at a comfortable 32 degrees C. The pump is noisier that the original but then again it’s a lot more powerful and doing a proper job. We easily solved that by simply placing it where the sound can stay trapped.I have used cleaning balls instead of sand as it means it’s easier to dismantle and store at the end of the season.The ONLY negative is the very same that everyone else mentions….. the large clamp that keeps the lid on can be a bar-steward to fit. However, my solution was to give the clamping surfaces a VERY light coat of Vaseline. This really helps them to slide over the flange of the lid and base. Doing this meant I didn’t need to any of the other suggestions such as clamps and mallets.All in all I am VERY happy with my purchase and because of it next year I will be supplementing the solar mats with a heat pump meaning we will be able to use the pool from May to October. Other benefits include the fact that it makes emptying the pool SO much faster. Full to empty in about an hour!!

Tricky to setup and you need additional connectors if linking up to an Intex pool. But once done it out performes anything out there for the price. Also no more stupid cartridges. I have it linked to a 32” by 6” it doesn’t get out of first gear 👍👍

La calidad del producto es realmente buena para el precio que tiene. Lo he comprado para la construcción de una mini piscina de obra y la altura del filtro es ideal para ubicarlo en el interior de banco de obra ventilado. Faltará ver su fiabilidad. El programador de activación de la bomba tiene memoria, lo cual es bastante importante.

Vraiment, très très bonne pompe ! Je n'ai pas d'expérience dans les pompes avec filtre à sable, donc je ne peux pas vraiment comparer, mais en tout cas celle-ci me satisfait pleinement !J'avais jusqu'à présent la mini-pompe d'intex (pour ma piscine intex 14m3), et il faut bien dire qu'elle en faisait le minimum (j'avais notamment de la terre et quelques "grosses poussières" au fond de ma piscine que la pomper intex n'arrivait pas à enlever. Dès que j'ai mis cette pompe Speed Clean, ma piscine est redevenue nickel dès le lendemain !Légèrement compliquée à monter (faute à une notice pas vraiment claire), une fois qu'on y est arrivé, un pur bonheur !Je recommande vivement !

Fonctionne à merveille. Installation simple et rapide. Peu bruyante. Finition de certains éléments à revoir cependant: tuyau de la pompe au filtre à travailler un peu au cutter pour avoir une surface plane au contact du joint d'étanchéité côté pompe.
