I thought that the spur tip would be rubber, which is what I was looking for, to try and give less of a ‘dig’ when moving the horse off my leg and be a bit gentler. Nevertheless, these spurs are less jabby than the metal I think and the black blends in with my boot so doesn’t draw the eye.

My coach suggested me to buy this kind of spurs. As his opinion it won’t be too hard. It should be easy to use. I’ve started to use these spurs for two weeks. They worked great.

These are awesome. They are comfortable and stay in place well. I wear them on my water shoes when I ride thru the river in the summer.

Great spurs, nice and gentle just give a bit clearer message to horse so don’t have to kick. Arrived quickly, nice quality and not sloppy like some metal ones.
