Avoid this light as the wire supplied is fitted and only 10cm, as a result you cannot even run it through the thinnest of walls to do anything with it unless you intend to not be IP66 and join the wires out side then run your wire. It's simply not long enough to run it safely to a join or junction box on the other side of the wall, the only way you would get this to work is if you spend more money and bought a ugly water proof junction box and install that right under the light as you only get 10cm of wire from the light so it would run to your junction box and then out to a new piece of wire through the wall or to your mains.Also mine arrived damaged on the glass/plastic even though it was double boxed the 1st box was also ripped.Unless you intend to use this light inside or buy extra parts, stay away and don't waste your time like we did now we have to mess about sending it back and then buy another from someone else and wait all over again :(
