Whilst looking through the sighting mirror it is almost impossible to turn the compass dial if any alignment is needed as it is so stiff you need a full set of fingers or both hands. I had thought the point of the housing was that you would be able to turn it easily with wet or cold fingers. The actual dial and print marking colouring makes any feature/markings/numbers on the dial quite difficult to read for lack of light or contrast. if the mirror is set at 45 degrees for sighting, the compass itself is left so dark you can barely make out the cross lines of compass features. A youtube channel has pointed out 5 yrs ago that the lanyard has a hidden screwdriver to adjust the bezel for declination but due to a design failure admitted by SILVA this is slightly magnetized and can affect the compass direction. Testing this, I can say this has not been corrected so you need to know when using the compass

Everything works as it should except for it doesn't clip closed securely. As well, for $10 less you can get the black one that is identical except for the color. Don't waste your money on this one.

This compass does not illuminate the dial as the picture suggests. Also, it seems I'm not the only one that didn't receive the slope card. Also surprised that there no paperwork our guides that Silva would normally add in the packaging. The illumination on the needle is very poor also.

É la seconda bussola che mi arriva senza slope card che invece dovrebbe essere in dotazione con questo modello. Ora basta. Farò l’ennesimo reso e comprerò altrove!
