Nicely built, heavy and easy to operate. I ordered this to replace a defunct Braun immersion blender that lived in my kitchen for just over fifteen years. I have high hopes for this device. Quality construction, powerful motor (with adjustable on-the-fly speed settings) and a "turbo" button for extra power. Accessories are easy to swap out and clean. Overall the motor is very quiet, even at max power.One issue is that the whisk attachment is made with very thin wires. While this could hold up to egg whites or whipped cream, I don't think I'd trust it to handle cake batter or anything more substantial without bending the wires.Also, despite ordering black, the unit I received is distinctly maroon. Not a major issue, but now stands out as a mismatch to my other kitchen appliances.Awkward to store (it does not include any way to hang the top-heavy base unit.)If this lasts even a fraction as long as my original Braun, I'll be happy, but only time will tell.

A bit on the heavy/bulky side and only 2 speeds that buttons have to be held down to run however, I bought a lighter weight smaller rechargeable one (different brand) that lasted like 2 months, this one is still running 2 months later

This hand blender is a kitchen essential! It’s powerful, and the 12-speed settings give you control for everything from smoothies to soups. The stainless steel blades are sharp and durable, and I love the 3-in-1 functionality with the included attachments. It’s easy to clean and feels sturdy in hand. A great multi-purpose tool that I use almost daily!
