I love the colour, exactly as described and the posibility of taking it anywhere. Very light

This is one of my favorite camping gear I use. Of coarse its made by Sea to Summit which always makes great quality gear. The bowl is the right size to hold in one hand but big enough and deep enough to hold a good size meal. The sides are ribbed so it won't slip out of your hand while you use the other hand to shovel your food into your mouth. This is a must have for every outdoorsmen!

I got a few of the "Passage" series of camping dishes to try out during travel, and this is my least favorite. The dinner plate is much nicer to hold and it still has high sides and the 16oz drinking cup is much thicker and holds almost as much as this bowl. It's hard to find a space where the bowl works for me - the plate gives you more space and the cup feels much sturdier. With the bowl, it's small enough that it feels like you're sticking your thumb into the bowl when you hold it, and it doesn't feel secure since the walls are so thin. I got a Sea to Summit set of dishes in the hopes that they'd be more food-safe than other random brands, so it's probably good in that respect, but I'd just stick with the plate and use a second 16oz cup as a bowl - then it would even have a lid!

Too small for most meals and hard to use for meals that need to be sealed as no lid and hard to seal with anything else

Sturdy, solid and pretty light. Doesn't seem to absorb oils and juices of hot dishes. Cleans up pretty well..
