I have used my first 26” Schwalbe Marathon Racer on my SunSeeker recumbent for approximately eight years putting more than 3,000 miles on it. Now its sides are worn out and I ordered a new one two days ago. Riding mostly on paved roads and multi use paths in Florida, this tire is the only one who will not blow during the hot and humid summer days. Adding some rim tape as a protection aid helps too. Small glass pieces, nails and screws, all these smaller trash items that people throw out of car windows did not do any harm to it. This is a true winner when it comes to durability, highly recommended.

These are fast tires and sticky enough for aggressive riding. I wore through the KOJAK ires that came with my Ghost Speedline 1 after about 6 months and rotations of the tires. After regular flats, I went to Amazon for something like Gatorskins. I found these instead. Great price compared with other tires claiming puncture resistance and I've ridden over all kinds of road debris that Virginia construction pickup trucks seems to dump at every stoplight. I also purchase much heavier 700 X 35C Schwalbe tires for a future road trip and don't think I should have wasted the money - these aren't wearing much at all after 400+ miles of morning, pre-work rides. It's hard to find these given the complexity of the Schwalbe tire ontologies that they have, but these are indeed fast but also secure. You will not be disappointed!
