A flatwound string that works well with viola basses. This works well with my epiphone viola bass as well as to my hofner bass.

Corde acquistate in variante scala corta per un basso hofner.Il sound non è male ed a differenza di altre corde lisce queste non lasciano l'alone nero sulle dita, anche sudate.La scalatura delle corde, almeno sul mio basso è risultata un po' lunga, infatti il rinforzo in tessuto sui capicorda è al limite con il capotasto.

Corde davvero molto molto belle. "morbide", scorrevoli, piccole.. Hanno una risposta veramente perfetta!Le ho poi assaggiate a crudo ma il sapore è pessimo, troppo ferrose! Magari cotte rendono.

Flats feel great, pricey though, these were at least less money than most. Very happy with the strings on a Fender Mustang bass.

GREAT WARM TONES AND STABLE TUNING.Bought them for a Hofner Ignition Violin Bass not realizing that even though they are medium scale, they are too long.They work just fine on the A and D strings but the winding pins are too close to the nut causing E and G to not have any braid to thread the pin. However, I found a little workaround that may or may not work for everyone. I used a couple of small copper crimp sleeves and sleeved them down those strings buying me a little slack on the braids. The red end loops are showing just outside of the tailpiece "if you care" but I made the strings work and the tones are worth it.If you're not crafty, do not buy these strings for your Hofner.

Come da titolo, le corde flatwound non sono decisamente adatte per le mie dita troppo scivolose, scomodissime da suonare almeno per i miei gusti. E, come tutte le flatwound, hanno una tensione decisamente elevata che non è adatta a tutti i manici. Il suono in sé sarebbe anche piacevole ma, se devo utilizzare delle corde lisce, preferisco di gran lunga le nylon: molto ma molto più morbide al tocco (... anche se scivolose pure quelle).
