I was looking to upgrade my brake rotor on my mountain bike from a 160mm to a 203mm and this worked perfect for my Mountain bike. Since I was already running Shimano Deore brake group set on my bike, I just needed to buy the brake adapter and this rotor to replace my existing brake disc rotor. If you are upgrading to a larger disc brake rotor, you may need to also purchase a brake adapter to be able to fit the brake rotor on your bike.
