J'utilise le caisson Q Acoustics dans un petit setup de très bonne qualité, avec un ampli intégré classe D / DAC Wyred4Sound mInt et deux KEF E305 achetées sans leur (assez mauvais) caisson. Installation sans problème du fait d'une forme assez fine et compacte; réglage de volume et de crossover fait à l'oreille en 30 secondes, et le résultat est immédiat : les petites KEF se concentrent sur leur aigu et médium détaillé et cristallin (sans aucune dureté grâce à la signature sonore assez liquide et chaleureuse de l'ampli), le caisson les complète avec un grave très propre et bien dosé, et une sensation de scène sonore très solide et cohérente. Qui plus est, zéro bourdonnement ou autre bruit de fonctionnement, et la qualioté visuelle de la finition est irréprochable. On n'est pas dans le montre système audiophile, mais c'est de très loin le seul caisson abordable que je n'aurais aucun souci à essayer dans une configuration bien plus chère.

The sub is discreet, easy to set up and use and most important, provides all the low end that was missing from my hifi system, which wasn’t bad in the first place. It fills out the lower bass perfectly without being intrusive ( depending on how you set it). Much cheaper than some other subs and that befits the rest of my system .

Too little power for low bass

I purchased a Q Acoustics 3060S Active subwoofer in August 2023. Subwoofer worked great and provided excellent base both for music and movies. Unfortunately, The subwoofer just stopped working last month and would not power-up no matter what I tried. I e-mailed Q Acoustics with a copy of my Amazon receipt and they answered my e-mail the next day explaining that their local USA representative would contact me ASAP. James, the e-commerce manager, contacted me next working day. He provided a pre-paid Fed Ex mailing label via e-mail with instructions to ship the subwoofer and promising that he would send me a new subwoofer as soon as I e-mailed him confirmation of the shipment. I did as instructed and, to my surprise and delight, received a new 3060S on my front porch the next day! Such service is unheard of in this day and age! I can't recommend this company enough. The product is great and the service is spectacular! I truly feel that you can't go wrong with purchase of a Q Acoustics product.

Ho acquistato questo subwoofer come complemento a una coppia di Q Acoustics 3020iL'abbinamento risulta perfetto, crossover impostato su circa 80hz e livello a circa metà della potenza, messo in fase grazie allo switch disponibile sul retro, si installa in un attimo con un cavo RCA stereo, produce un ottimo basso morbido e profondo, con la giusta sensazione di immanenza, liberando dallo sforzo sulle frequenze basse i diffusori.Consigliato.

This year I felt my hifi system needed an upgrade.After disappearing down a rabbit hole of youtube reviews and trying to listen to speakers in shops in the current climate I was just confused. I have a seven year old pair of Dynaudio audience 42 bookshelf speakers (similar to the current Emit 10s) which are great but small and lacking in some bass depth. I didn't really want bigger speakers so it was looking like at least £1000 to make a significant improvement whilst keeping the compact and cool looking system.I decided to first try adding a subwoofer then upgrade the speakers in the future. This Q acoustics 3060s sub fits nicely out of sight and had good reviews so I went for it.Wow. Not only is the additional bass volume and depth amazing but the whole system sounds much better. I'm no audiophile or techno guy but (I think from what I've read) the bookshelf speaker's sound has definitely improved through the mid range by directing the lower frequencies to the sub. They seem freed up somehow.Whatever the reason, I now don't need a speaker upgrade. The system is brill and I saved myself a shed load. A bargain at £280.
