Ordered these for my Mission speakers as I didn't want the spikes to damage my wooden floor. They are quality machined little items, the spike fits neatly into the centre with no problem and as one reviewer put it, you can slide the speakers around no problem. I have not noticed a dramatic sound improvement, but neither have I noticed any drop off in quality. My system probably isn't the quality where these would have any impact, but they do the job of protecting the floor well and look quite posh silently gleaming beneath the big old Missions I bought them for. recommended.
