I bought this for my first pc build and it out performs my old gpu by a mile which was a gtx 1050 ti. It’s quiet, there’s no drivers you need to install, it’s graphics are clear and I can hit almost 300 in Fortnite with a i3-1200f. It has good memory and overall sturdy with it being made with metal or wtv it is.

Powercolor did an amazing job with this card. Super simple black design that has a nice backplate. This card worked perfect for my sleek black pc build. The RX 6500XT is not a super powerful GPU. There are two models, the 4GB model and 8GB model. The 8GB model is the better one as it doesn't run out of vram at 1080p medium to high settings. I was able to play both Escape from Tarkov and Arena Breakout Infinite (New game) at 1080p medium settings with ease. I played Rainbow Six Siege at 1080p medium and was able to average 180 to 200 frames. Mind you I paired this GPU with the Ryzen 5 2600 which is old at this point. The R5 2600 also doesn't have PCIE 4.0 so I am losing some performance. You will get more frames with a faster CPU. Do your research before purchasing any GPU as this card may not fit your needs. No encoder on this GPU but I don't need to record anything so that's fine. I have owned the 4GB RX 6500XT and I will say the extra vram helps a ton. Overall, a super nice "budget" graphics card. If you're looking for something that is decently affordable and can play almost all modern videogames at playable framerates, then this GPU is perfect. For $180 dollars you can buy the new RTX 3050 6GB but the RX 6500XT 8GB beats it in most titles. The Intel ARC a580 is around this price range but Intel drivers still need time to mature. For 20 dollars more you can grab the RX 6600 which is very good, but this card is still cheaper. AMD needs to lower this cards price by about 15 to 20 dollars to be a little more competitive. I would 100 percent recommend this GPU to first time builders and returning builders;)

The Radeon RX 6500 XT GPU packs a lot of punch for the price. Don't expect RX 7900 XT performance out of it (with advanced Ray Tracing, etc.), but at $800-$900 less, it offers overall great gaming performance on almost any of the modern "3D" games on the market. This GPU will more than suffice for the bulk majority of gamers. Probably the best deal out there for an entry level GPU.As with any AMD discrete (dedicated) GPU, make sure you download the latest AMD Adrenalin software and drivers, as well as the AMD chipset drivers for optimal performance. Don't make the mistake of letting Windows install the drivers, they're "watered down" compared to getting the drivers directly from AMD.The 6500 XT should more than do the job for any of the casual to hobbyist gamers out there. Definitely recommend for those looking to keep their GPU budget within reasonable limits.
