My son has been teaching himself to play the guitar for about eight or nine months now. He is therefore a novice guitar player, so this review come from a novice's perspective rather than an expert's perspective. The picks are smaller than the average size. The fourth photo attached to this review shows a size comparison to a standard size pick. The picks are excellent quality and are thick. Size and thickness is a personal preference. My son personally loves the thickness of these picks. My son has small hands/fingers so I thought they would be really suited to him. They are, but the smaller size did take a bit of getting used to at first. There is a centre circle cut out to aid grip. My son states that the etched company branding on the pick also aids grip too.The current price point of £8.32 means they may not be the cheapest option, however they are great quality and now my son's favourite picks, so worth it in my opinion.

People make picks out of all sorts of materials but apparently Henry thought there was a gap in the market for picks made out of buttons. Or at least, picks with holes in them made out of a material similar to that which buttons are made out of. It's kind of an odd angle but the picks are pretty good.A tad thicker than I usually use but the resin these are made of provides good grip for having as polished of a finish as it does. Nicely articulate, definitely comfortable to hold and play with. I'd say these are somewhat on the mellow side in terms of tone and overall string release, smooth playing compared to picks that bite into the strings a bit more.Priced a bit on the high side but well within the range of other "exotic" picks and these certainly have a feel all their own compared to the many different picks I've used over the years. The material seems relatively resilient as well. It might be for you, it might not! If nothing else, button picks make for an interesting novelty to add to your collection or a unique gift idea.

I am in my sixth century of playing guitar. I am still learning my Instrument. If you play, you know what I mean.I have seen so many gimmicks, products, trends, fads, and opportunist come, go, and repeat.Ask me how many guitars I have? Not enough!Ask me how many times I bought something I thought would improve my abilities? TOO MANY!!And along comes this pick and its corny video. I am generally a finger-picker, but do play with a pick often enough that I keep a couple/few in my pocket at all times. Don't you?It was the company's angle on buttons that caught my attention, simply because it made me remember that I used buttons stolen off my sister's outfits for a special "tone" and feel.In a quick word - these are AWESOME. It's the plectrum's "holes" that made the difference for me.I will be buying these again!
