My old fountain pens were drying out because I wasn’t using them frequently enough. I chose this pen because apparently it doesn’t dry out. I’ve had it for months now and can confirm that this is true. The ink is really nice and smooth, and the pen never dries out. Excellent.

Toto pero má velice přesný tenký hrot, nevysychá, je stále připraveno k psaní. Značka Platinum používá proprietární náplně, takže je třeba to vzít v úvahu. Tyto cartridge jsou ale z kvalitního plastu, s kovovou kuličkou která rozmíchává kvalitní inkoust.

Leggerissima eppure molto elegante, scrive con una fluidità impressionante, lievissima al tocco. Una penna secondo me molto superiore alla più nota Lamy Safari. Viene spedita in un bel box di plastica leggera, molto comodo.

penna di oneste caratteristiche rispetto al prezzo niente di più, inoltre il tratto con pennino medio è più un broad, nettamente in contrasto con le diffuse "dicerie" che i pennini giapponesi hanno tratti nettamente più fini degli europei. Sono comunque modestamente soddisfatto.

This pen isa delight to write with! The body is made of aluminium, so it is light enough to write for long periods even with my arthritis , it feels well balanced in the hand. The nib is well tuned,the tynes are perfectly aligned and nothing to polish: it glides on the page so beautifully i look for reasons to write. Even the cartridge that came with it is beautiful grey.I must admit i hesitated to by the 'real brand as i have many Chinese pens that i was satisfied with. I received a pilot metropolitan as a gift and was amazed at the great feeling it gave me, so i decided to pay for the Plaisir. I know the price is very reasonable but for a grandma on a small pension it was still a purchase i had to think about. I have a good collection of fountain pens but i find myself reaching for this one most of the time. It iswell loved!
