Unfortunately, the individual modules are not well built or secure within the faceplate. One of the four modules pulled away from the faceplate whilst removing the punch-down tool and its connector strips came out of their guides. Although I managed to re-insert the copper strips, the port doesn't work. As I need all four ports for my project, the whole quad socket is effectively rendered useless. It's worth noting that I am experienced in terminating Cat5e and Cat6a cables, and I was using a professional punch-down tool.Based on the number of positive reviews, it could be that I just happened to be sent a faulty unit. However, I can only base my review on my own experience of the product.On the plus side, the inbuilt legend is a useful reminder for someone who doesn't terminate Cat5e cables on a daily basis.

This item is absolutely brilliant and so easy to use.I was a first-time installer of Ethernet cables around our new house. I had single-port sockets for the bedrooms and one of these in a cupboard on the first-floor landing.It seemed well made. The only thing I would possibly say negatively is that it would be better with a back box. But I suppose it depends on what depth back box you need.If I needed another I would buy this one again

Easy to use and punch down tool did a good job, the colour chart is easy to follow the the ‘b’ standard of connectivity. The modules are not secured that well, when I used a normal level of force to connect the end of the cable in it pushed the module back into the plate which caused all the others to move out of place, took a while to realign them again but good value at current price point. Good speed and no issues so far

Cercavo qualcosa per nascondere i miei quattro cavi Ethernet che uscivano dalla scatola 500 tre a Muro. cercando su Amazon ho trovato questa che fa al caso mio, in 10,15 minuti l’ho installata ed ora è tutto più ordinato

Fitted to Cat6 solid core 23AWG cable and had no issues, it's a bit of a fiddle making it all neat and tidy to push back into the back box (sold separately, or use any standard UK backbox that's 26mm deep or more).

The RJ45 sockets kept popping out of the plate when punching down both during installation. I thought I would try this to cut the cost on the job. It did but not sure I will use again, you get what you pay for 😁

Ottima soluzione per creare 4 prese ethernet a filo muro, molto comoda per impianti di video sorveglianza, permettono un’installazione molto ordinata e pulitaAnche i collegamenti dei cavi è semplice e indicata in base al tipo di connessione A o B con comoda tabellina con riferimento ai colori dei fili da fissare per ogni singolo morsettinoPeró le dimensioni non sono le classiche delle cassette frutto a muro ma è più larga quindi è necessario praticare due fori con tasselli per fissare a muro la placca
