Its a clear, easy to read watch - great as a first watch for children as well as stylish in the way of the classic "Swiss Railway Watch" design. It also comes in a neat felt package ready for gifting.I have run it today and it stays in good time with the atomic clock at Rugby. It misses out a date window - but this is less important nowadays as we have smartphones with us.Build is good - with a chunky 7mm thick body, a 1 1/4 inch face and 20mm wide rubber strap. It looks to be tough and durable. The glass is said to be "mineral" and time will tell if it resists scratches and going dull. Mineral glass for watches is a type of glass that has been heat-treated or chemically treated to enhance its durability and scratch resistance. It ranks between 5 and 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, which is significantly harder than acrylic glass but less hard than sapphire crystal - but it can be scratched by materials ike stainless steel, for example.Downsides? the waterproof at 3 ATM means the device can withstand splashes of water and rain, but it is not suitable for swimming or submersion. It's ideal for everyday use and accidental exposure to water. But, that makes it a poor choice in hospitals where you need to be able to scrub watches clean with nasty agents like "hibiscrub" if you are going to wear them on your wrist.I have worn it for a day - and so far there is no reaction. The back is said to be stainless steel; but unless it is 340 rated may contain nickel and chromium that can trigger allergies. I'll report back if I get problems.OVERALL - I like this - and at the launch price rate this as good value and would be happy to get it again.Delivery was quick - it came the next day which is great service by the store.If this fails inside 2 years I will be back to update my review.

Although described as a medical or nurses watch I feel this does it a dis-service, it is a watch for all; usually a nurses watch is not worn on the wrist. A comfortable easy catch strap.The price is fair if the battery lasts at least a couple of years. Water resistant is not waterproof, so I wouldn't swim or shower in it, but walking in the rain would be fine. The stainless steel case is unlikely to cause skin reactions that other metals can.A nice clear watch.
