I use this as a tamping station and use it to hold:- Normcore distributor- Normcore tamper- Normcore 0.2mm and 1.7mm puck screens- Normcore dosing funnel- Normcore RDT sprayer- my prior WDT toolThe overall build quality and aesthetics are top notch. For the price, this would be a no-brainer 5-star purchase if it weren’t for a couple of avoidable deficiencies.I made the assumption that Normcore’s product line would be most-compatible with the station. Given the generally positive reviews for the entire line, I was more than happy to replace most of my existing tools with Normcore’s offerings. Individually, these items are well-built and nice additions/substitutions in my workflow.Having spent that money, I was very disappointed to find that the circular cutouts are just a fraction of a millimeter too small to hold Normcore’s own RDT spray bottle. To be fair, promotional photos usually show other accessories in those slots, so there was no implied fit, but it does seems like a bit of a miss that Normcore didn’t think of this obvious use case. When I’m motivated enough, I’ll ream the hole and re-stain black to overcome this oversight. I could just buy another sprayer, I guess, but I like the normcore RDT’s nozzle performance otherwise.I was less disappointed that the WDT bar isn’t itself magnetized, leaving that accessory useless unless you have/buy a magnetized WDT tool. In my case (and somewhat ironically given the above re: RDT bottle) my existing WDT base fits perfectly into one of the round slots at the back and I’ve just omitted the bar all together.Some other reviews have pointed out that things can get tight between the portafilter tamping spot and any tools you have to the right of it. I use an ECM bottomless portafiliter 80%+ of the time, and I haven’t had any issues tamping with the normcore distribution tool in place. Die Tamperstation wird in einem kleinen Paket geliefert und ist erwartungsgemäß kompakt. Die Station ist sauber gearbeitet, jedoch finde ich das Holz recht weich - in unserer Station befindet sich bereits eine Macke, weil der Siebträger einmal nur kurz abgerutscht und an die Station gestoßen ist. Erfreulich ist, dass unser Siebträger der Firma Profitec perfekt in die Aussparung passt - bei einem anderen Modell war die Schraube zur Höhenverstellung zu kurz bzw. der Ausschnitt für die Schraube so tief, dass der Siebträge nach vorn kippte und von Hand waagerecht gehalten werden musste.Auch die meisten der anderen „Parkplätze“ für das Zubehör sind funktional - so passen Einfülltrichter, Tamper und Leveler perfekt in ihre Vorrichtungen, ebenso können zwei Pucksiebe senkrecht eingesteckt werden. Die Löcher für beispielsweise WDT-Tool haben leider nur einen kleinen Durchmesser, sodass ich mir ein neues, schmales Tool anschaffen musste - hier ist Luft nach oben. Ein dicker Pinsel wiederum passt ins Loch, unseren zweiten Pinsel können wir leider nicht mehr unterbringen. Mit der eingesteckten Stange kann ich nichts anfangen - sie ist für unsere Milchkännchen zu klein und das WDT-Tool hält auch nicht (magnetisch) daran.Insgesamt ist die Station praktisch und funktional. Hervorzuheben ist ihr kompaktes Design, mit dem sie nicht zu viel Platz in Anspruch nimmt. Das Holz ist etwas empfindlich, sieht aber schick aus. Allerdings finde ich den aktuellen Preis von knapp 70 Euro definitiv zu hoch angesetzt.

Von Normcore wurde ich noch nicht enttäuscht. Da bekommt man grundsätzlich eine gute Qualität. So ist das hier auch keine Ausnahme. Die Station ist ordentlich gefertigt und macht einen schönen Eindruck neben der Maschine. Alles ist schön aufgeräumt. Super.

Ich habe schon mehrere Produkte der Firma und habe mir daher auch die Temperstation zugelegt. Sie sieht genauso hochwertig und edel aus wie die anderen Teile und fügt sich gut in das Gesamtkonzept. Rein qualitativ bin ich mehr als zufrieden.Die Bauweise ist sehr solide und ich gehe von einer hohen Langlebigkeit aus. Das Material ist sehr robust und auch bei der Handhabung kann ich nichts kritisieren. Die Basis ist stabil und das Tampen des Pulvers ist damit super einfach und effizient.Durch den rutschfesten Boden verrutscht auch nichts und alles bleibt dort, wo ich es haben möchte. Damit ist das Verteilen des Kaffeepulvers auch gleichmäßiger. Das Design möchte ich ebenfalls loben, denn das empfand ich als ziemlich durchdacht, weil es noch praktische Möglichkeiten zum Ablegen gibt. Der Tamper kann also super sauber und praktisch aufbewahrt werden.
