I purchased this Night Cat Pop-Up tent so that my 8 year old Daughter could experience camping out for the first time (in the back garden).Wow! Setting this up was so fast. The only bit that slowed me down was, I didn't realise that the ground sheet was rectangular rather than square, so once I had it the right way round, everything was a doddle, even without looking at the instructions (bloke thing). My Daughter loved it! In fact, we camped out twice over the weekend (Friday and Sunday night), with a reasonable shower on the latter. Everything stayed warm and dry.It is definitely a 2 season tent as the netting on the main body is massive. This is great when it is warm and dry, but won't help to retain the heat when its colder and a hard driving rain is likely to cause water to flow under the canopy and into the main sleeping area.On reading the review before buying, some people complained about the zips jamming or the straps breaking. We didn't experience any of this. The zips appear to be good quality and glide smoothly if closed with care. Like any zip, if your rush, you can trap the material around it. No issue here in any form.Putting the tent away was just as easy. Some one in the reviews had complained about getting everything back in the bag. How? Carefully pushing out any trapped air as you fold it away and everything went away into the bag. There is even an adjustable strap to put around the tent to help hold a more compressed shape as you pack it away.I would personally recommend this tent to my friends and family, with the ease and quality that I have encountered.

Montar y desmontar suponen 5 minutos contando el sacarlo de la bolsa. Los materiales parecen de calidad y las cremalleras y cierres muy bien acabados y sencillos de usar.

Ordered this tent for my son to take on a 5 day camping trip.**PROS**First, let me say that it is SO easy to put up and take down. Neither he, nor, I had any issues putting the tent up. Set up was just a few minutes (and we’re slow). I did a test run before he left, and had no issues taking it down or repacking. My son did have issues, however...more on that below.Second, it rained pretty hard several times throughout the trip. A LOT of his friends tents leaked, and their gear got soaked. He said that his tent was pretty waterproof, all of his stuff stayed dry. He thinks that there MAY have been some VERY SMALL leaks at the seams....I’ll be water sealing the seams shortly. The tent is relatively lightweight. I wouldn’t want to take it backpacking, as the hydraulic mechanism on top does all som weight and bulkiness, but it’s pretty compact and works well for car camping.***CONS***Before I begin, let me say that the company sent an email requesting feedback on the tent, and after my initial email back, they have already responded that they are sending me a replacement, without being asked to do so....hey responded within a few hours, in fact. NO complaints about customer service...they have been great, thus far.Again, I had no issues with taking and repacking the tent before his trip, but he did say that after he’s taken the tent down and was repacking it, he heard a “snap”. When we got it back home and unpacked, several of the support bars had disengaged from the hydraulic mechanism at the top of the mechanism. We were able to get them all back into their slots, but it was a bit tricky, and it appears that several of the “nubs” were either angled oddly or hanging haphazardly...didn’t appear to be “broken”, more like they weren’t ever bonded to the groove slots effectively from the get go. Anyway, as I said we were able to get them all back into their respective slots, after removing the legs from the rain fly feet (to allow for easier angling) and removing the small screw that attaches the smaller support brace from the large support beam (again, to allow for easier placement of each section back into the hydraulic mechanism), and then re-screwed the smaller brace back to the larger brace. Probably not the most efficient way to put the brackets back into the hydraulic mechanism slots, but it seemed to go faster than just trying to shove them back into their respective slots while connected. We were able to to take the tent down and repack, without issue, after reaffixing all the support legs.Secondly, I did notice a small tear in the rain fly, around the area of one the joints of a cross bar...about the level of the top of the tent entrance. I just repaired using Tenacious Tape...not a deal breaker.None of the above would keep me from repurchasing this tent again, if needed, for a second teenager to take on a camping trip. The easy setup, lightweight, and waterproofing outweighed having to reinstall the support brackets. I do question the durability of the tent, given the easy disconnect (but NOT BREAKAGE) of the support bars. Again, the seller volunteered to replace the item, so it seems they’re confident in their product...maybe this unit was just a dud.
