Nella descrizione è indicato che è compatibile anche con il modello G7X mark III, ma in realtà l'accessorio non si adatta all'ultimo modello della G7X: infatti le impugnature sono diverse nei due modelli della Canon. Il risultato è che la piastra si avvita a fatica, poggia in maniera precaria sulla fotocamera (rischiando di rovinarla) ed è scomoda da impugnare. Il problema è segnalato anche in altre recensioni. Sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto

Anche per questo prodotto, non c’è molto da dire. Parliamo di una semplice staffa per Canon G7X mark II/III, che ho trovato davvero comoda per un motivo molto semplice: il microfono.Grazie a questa staffa infatti riuscirete a montare il microfono nella parte laterale della fotocamera e al contempo potrete posizionarla su cavalletti o altri accessori.L’altra cosa fantastica è che non blocca lo slot della batteria.Materiali e rifinitura come sempre degni del marchio Neewer; nonostante il prezzo sia molto basso, la qualità è eccezionaleGrazie per l’attenzioneRiccardo

It arrived in a small cardboard box, there’s a folded piece of paper giving support contact details, as instructions are not necessary for such a simple device.It screwed to my Canon G7X Mk.2 without a problem, using the small Allen key supplied, but there’s also a wide slot allowing a screwdriver or even a small, thin coin to be used. As advertised, the compartment door for battery and memory card is easily accessible. I also proved that it does not obstruct the tilting LCD screen’s range of movement and no other buttons, or connector panels are obstructed. In fact, it would appear that you can even use an AC adaptor, since the little notch in the case side can still be used, as long as you slide out the cover before attaching the bracket, see my photos.Since the retained fixing screw is flush with the bottom of bracket when mounted, the camera still sits nicely on a flat surface. There is a tripod bush on the underside, allowing the bracket to be attached to a tripod. On my G7X Mark 2, the camera’s own tripod bush is well off the lens axis, the one in the bracket is about 15mm camera left, almost, if not exactly, (it’s difficult to measure) on the lens axis. Further points of good design.I attached a small LED lamp to the cold shoe and the clamp tightened OK. Unfortunately, my intended use was to attach an external microphone via the cold shoe - until I discovered that’s only possible with the G7X Mk.3, which this bracket is apparently also compatible with.In summary then, I can barely* fault the design or finish for such a compact solution. Obviously it unavoidably makes the camera a little less snug fitting to the right-hand, but the hole in the base allowed my thumb and forefinger to grip the left-hand-side just as I would normally. When there is something attached to the cold shoe, you may end up holding that instead, if it is bulky. E.g. a small microphone could be encompassed by your hand, but (say) an LED light, or optically slaved flash (strobe) unit, could not.* If there is one minor aspect I’d suggest be improved, it would be to have a very slightly thicker bit of metal on the cold shoe top edge, this measures 0.96mm thick on mine, I’d suggest 1.1mm thick (in total), would be better. I don't think that would foul any cold shoe devices.
