Good quality roll of butyl tape, easy to apply and very mailable to fit around areas where it is required. Used as a gasket around a solar fitting, this hasn't leaked despite the heavy rain and is so much easier to use than silicone sealant as it doesn't make a mess!

Der Artikel wurde schnell geliefert und kommt in einem simplen Folienbeutel.Daran klebt das Band teilweise etwas fest, aber das habe ich bei einer anderen schon wesentlich schlimmer erlebt.Das Butylband funktioniert einwandfrei: es ist leicht zuzuschneiden, lässt sich gut anbringen und klebt und dichtet direkt sehr gut.Es eignet sich damit für Anwendungen bei denen es haften und dichten soll, z.B. perfekt für Türverkleidungen am Auto.Somit kann ich es sehr empfehlen.

This tape is great for repairs to the greenhouse, which has an aluminium frame and a mix of glass and acrylic panels. I have been struggling to repair the end panels which were originally sealed in with putty or caulk up to 60 years ago. Having raked out the old debris of the hardened caulk and cleaned carefully with white spirit, the metal frame is rough in some places. This butyl tape is very flexible and can be moulded into the space, so that the acrylic replacement glazing panel can then be easily pushed into position and pressed to create the seal.The seal feels windproof and watertight so far; time will tell how well the tape stands up to wind, weather and UV but for a quick and easy DIY fitting option, this tape certainly seems to be just what is needed. It is well worth the price given the quality.

ich möchte alte Lautsprecher restaurieren bei denen die Chassis mit solchem Material abgedichtet sind. Nachdem es mir nicht gelungen ist etwas originales zu bekommen, habe ich es mit diesem Butylband versucht - funktioniert einwandfrei!
