Easy to install, works perfectly

Once I got the other one off, this was easy to put on and it worked great

delivery time was good. product fit perfectly in my troy-bilt ride on lawn tractor.

Installed without incident seems to be a good fit. The steering problem for now has been corrected. If you take a close look at the original part you can see why this part will eventually fail. Also the Engineering Genius that decided to use a large bit phillips head bolt that clearly presents a problem for a tight space. When reinstalling consider using a quality 3/8 box wrench bolt with locktite and not the phillips bolt. I guess this is one off things that you will have to tackle to get a feel for what I'am telling you. The gear on the shaft is fabricated of a soft material and the gear has a twist which meshes with a geared cog which moves the tie rod via the wheels. Also one would scratch there head and ask why do we have to replace the entire steering shaft and not just the gear that failed. Lubrication is needed in this area metal on metal. You can handle this repair with a little planning and keeping safety in mind. Will update in the future if the part fails or fails prematurely. For now thumbs up.
