This is a review for the Morainjay set of 100 pride/rainbow bun cases.These are attractive paper cases with rainbow sides and the word, "Pride" written on the bottom (though the word isn't all that clear and it's possible it actually says, "Rude").You are supposed to receive 100 cases. I haven't counted them all, but they come divided into four sections. I counted one section and it included 28 cases, so it's likely that I've received slightly more than 100 in total.The cases are fairly sturdy and feel like they will hold up well, even with quite a loose batter. They are definitely more cupcake sized than muffin sized.My only real issue with these cases is that they have a strong slightly unpleasant smell when you first open the pack. As it stands, I'm not willing to potentially waste a batch of cake batter to see if the smell imparts onto the finished buns. I'm also not sure what is causing the smell so am not sure what chemicals may leach into the food. I'm going to let the cases air out for a few days to see if the smell dissipates a bit out of the packaging, and then make a decision about whether I'm going to risk using them or not.

Yes these do look great and are a decent size for a cupcake. but there is a huge problem that needs to be sorted or these just will not sell. When you open the container they arrive in (a short plastic cylinder) they have a really strong acrid smell of chemicals. I assume this is from the dyes that the outside of the cupcake cases have been coloured with.So these might be fine to use and the smell might go when you cook your cakes, but it is far from reassuring, cupcake cases should not smell like this . . . . . . They do say No Smell after all. Not happy so 2 stars as they look good.
