EL pedido llegó muy pronto. A pesar de que el sobre del patrón está un poco dañado, el patrón está intacto. Es la talla que necesitaba y viene muy bien explicado aunque solo venga en inglés y francés.

Eagerly awaited delivery, excited to receive pattern. Package stated large/Xlg, cut out the pattern ready to get stuck into my next project, only then did I realise the actual paper pattern was for the small to medium.. disappointed but will teach me to double check prior to cutting :-(

Butterick Pattern B4266 Misses' Poncho: I was looking for a hooded poncho pattern in the XL size range. This is an older style, but simple enough to be adapted to something more stylish. (I plan on adding a shoulder seam to give it a more fitted look.) The bottom hem is shown just above the knee, but if you're over 5 ft. tall, it may need lengthening if you want the hem as pictured.

made a merida adult costume (from the movie Brave) with this pattern. i wore it to the movie theater and got lots of attention and people wanting to take pics with me. don't judge. it's not something i usually do (i'm not like a star wars dork or anything), but Merida is my spitting image, it's almost creepy. exact same hair, how could i pass the opportunity up. :)
