The end result can be well worth it if you keep in mind that the flowers individually are very small and can be incredibly fragile. I've gotten around this issue (mostly) by pre-baking the polymer clay with a heat gun, letting it cool down and then gently popping them out of the mold. The mold is very sturdy and has given a perfect imprint of the flower every time. Considering I've made more then a few hundred at this point, I'd say it'll keep for a good long time.

I'm a beginner to polymer clay. I bought these to make earrings. I read the reviews, watched the videos, and did my research so my first batch of flowers went pretty well.I tried the cut off the excess trick that one reviewer recommended. I think I pressed the molds together too much because mine came out paper thin and it took a lot of time to fix. So I mostly just trimmed the excess off each flower which was super easy because they basically peel off from the pressure points.A summary of my best method. Get a clay roller and either popsicle sticks or an o ring. Roll out a fairly thin layer of clay. Lightly coat with cornstarch (use a paintbrush). Do your cutouts. Lightly coat the molds with cornstarch (optional I think but it helped me a lot). Press clay into the molds. Trim excess. Place "stamen" or some other metal in middle of flower. Bend mold to release the one flower and press up from the bottom and with the metal rod. Then you can store a few flowers on this one rod. Bake flowers. To remove the cornstarch, the internet said water would work. It hasn't. I'll try alcohol next but the coating is so light you can either paint over or ignore. No one will likely notice
