My son really enjoys this game

This is one of the best Sci Fi Trilogy Role Playing Games out there, and remastered it looks and plays amazingly well on the Xbox One and via backwards compatibility on the Xbox Series X.Sadly, if you have a Series S you are limited to playing the disc based version of this game on your Xbox One---but the digital edition is available via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now so you can play that on your Series S if you want to and have these discs as a backup.We are all hoping that eventually Microsoft will do what Playstation did and give Series S owners the ability to play Xbox One, 360 and 1st Gen Xbox games via a licensed and approved portable drive. For now though, you must either have an Xbox One or invest more money in getting a Disc Based Xbox Series X to play your disc based games.If you have several disc games, this is well worth considering---either that or you will have to repurchase your games digitally in order to play them on the Series S. Which is costly and way less convenient than popping a disc into your console.

good game

I'm a hard fan of the original mass effect trilogy, and decided to finally pick this remaster up for sale. It arrived fast, had no damage, and plays well.Comes with 2 disks for installing/playing the game. Around 93GB on Xbox Series X.

As each individual games (and their DLCs), the Mass Effect original Trilogy is an absolute masterpiece of storytelling, easily comparable to our generation's Star Trek. The first game introduces to a mysterious galaxy where humanity recently joined a community of diverse species, thanks to enigmatic Mass Relays left by an extinct race named the Protheans. The first games does a magnificent job at introducing this world, its races, their quirks, and the main conflict. The second game fleshes out the galaxy, the main story elements are sparce but the game has an heavy focus on character development and fleshing out the world, as you encounter a dozen of characters to join your team, they will need their issues to be solved in order for them to be fully committed to the final Suicide Mission, itself a masterpiece of level design. These loyalty missions is a fantastic opportunity to explore every nooks and crannies of this world to truly make it feel alive. The last game is the war between the genocidal antagonists and the galaxy, it's the most linear games of the three but also where all the lore threads that weren't centrepiece to the plot but explored in the last 2 games get resolved in a way that effects the plot. Player inputs over the 2 previous games leading to significant changes in outcomes that affects the war. it is a masterpiece of modern storytelling no other medium than Video game could offer.As a remaster, this edition is also a masterpiece. All three games are graphically unified while keeping their specific flavours, the first game got significant changes in gameplay and quality of life upgrades while remaining the most RPG-mechanics oriented game of the series (2 being the least), the character creator has been uniformed between all 3 games so your character remains identical from 1 to 3 (with the exception of losing your scars if you gave your character in 1 any, for plot-related reasons). The game runs smoothly at 4K 60FPS on Xbox Series X, load times takes less than 10 seconds. the new lightning effects makes the whole world magnificent.When I completed my first play through of the trilogy I literally kissed the game's box. It's that good.
